We are a child development center established by the Kinderfield-Highfield School Head Office, dedicated to providing a nurturing environment that supports growth and learning. Our goal is to help young students ages 3-7 to develop essential socio-emotional and behavioral skills, empowering them to lead more successful and fulfilling lives in the future.
Why is
early intervention
important?
Poor behavioral and emotional management skills can lead to difficulty making positive relationships, poor academic outcomes and mental health in the long run; which are needed for success in life.
At this prime year of 3-7 years old, your child’s brain is the most plastic. This means your child can learn new skills and adapt to new behaviors very quickly. As your child ages past beyond 7 years old, changing behaviors gets more difficult.
Intervening any behavioral and emotional issues earlier on is the best way to ensure your child reaches their maximum potential.
Our Approach
At The Light Years, we take an evidence-based approach to support each child’s growth. We offer a range of therapies tailored to the child’s specific needs. Each child will participate in personalized intervention sessions and receive an individualized educational plan designed to address their unique developmental goals.
